Objectives
- to collaborate with law enforcement and government agencies in order to locate and recover missing children and return them safe and sound to their families;
- to contribute in preventing the abduction and aggression of children, as well as reducing the occurrence of runaways;
- to sensitize and educate the public about children’s personal safety and the prevention of their disappearances;
- to support and counsel families whose child has either been abducted by a stranger or kidnapped by a family member or has run away from home.
The Missing Children's Network works in collaboration with law enforcement agencies in the province, is a proud partner of the Our Missing Children's program, and is also a member of the Association of Missing and Exploited Children's Organizations (AMECO).
